People who have done manual sewing are familiar with its operation. Generally, when sewing, the needle needs to be released on one side of the fabric, and the thread needs to be grasped again on the other side. Next, it needs to pull out all the threads and then adjust the needle for sewing, which can easily hurt the hand if not paid attention. It is obvious that this method is not practical when making large fabrics, and for handicrafts, it is only useful when using shorter threads.

But compared to it, the operation of sewing machines is simpler and more efficient. The sewing machine only needs to pass the needle part through the fabric, fix the needle on the needle rod, and automatically pull it up and down by the machine motor through some gears or cams. When the needle tip passes through the fabric, it will pull out a small coil from one side to the other. At this point, a device under the fabric will immediately grasp the small coil and wrap it around another wire or coil.
